The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate to apply at SASH:

 

  • demonstrates excellent common sense

  • has good verbal and written communication skills

  • has skills to effectively work in a team environment

  • has the educational and experience required for the specific job

  • has a class 5 drivers license with access to vehicle and insurance coverage

 

 

 

 

 

SASH employees work in a variety of settings to provide community access and community living supports to adults with developmental disabilities.

 

Community disability services worker

 

  • supports and facilitates the development if skills that will assist persons with developmental disabilities to pursue and fulfill their foals and aspirations

 

 

 

 

 

Work hours vary and depend on the position held and clients’ needs. Community living supports operate 24 hours per day with evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Community living supports are generally provided Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Pay is determined by the position, education and related experience.

The benefits package includes health and dental, short- and long-term disability
